Hidden Gem on Geary Boulevard that has been here since my graduate school time like 2 decades ago... Small Restaurant but they still survived the down economy and still operating without hijacking their menu price too much... until today you can still find most of their dishes under $10... and they really cook authentic thai foods... nothing too sweet... i have come here often long time ago and havent visited them this year at all so today i decided to stop by.
I ordered my usual pad see ew with chicken... Trust me- their pad see ew will not taste the same as you get from osha thai or king of thai... not sweet at all... and very flavorful... i always order it hot; they know how to prep it - pour that hot chili powder while frying it... Usually either the owner or the owner wife taking turns to cook - either one of them are great cook... Enjoyed my lunch - good time spent! -

The food is so good you eat it without even bothering to take a picture first.
I haven't been to this place in years. The food is just as good as I remember it.
Whilst there I noticed a lot of their orders were for to go / delivery and I understand why. While the people who work there are really friendly (not to mention the story behind the name of restaurant and the decor is really cute) the service is unfortunately lackluster.
I'm not the type of person who needs to get checked up on every 5 minutes, but my partner and I were the only two people in the restaurant and he couldn't even get a refill on his water. We also had to awkwardly sit there and wait to get our check because nobody would look in our direction and the server was sitting behind us on her phone.
I'll get food from here again but will only get it to go from now. -

Small little establishment, maybe about 6-7 small tables that can accommodate a party of 4 per table. Pretty much a hole in the wall which means food here is super tasty. Pumpkin curry, eggplant, and pad Thai, were amazing. Prices are competitive and the portions of the pad Thai and eggplant was a bit small but the pumpkin curry was reasonable. All in all, glad we were in the neighborhood to check this place out. It's definitely a gem hidden in the Inner Richmond district.

Excellent food. Had the yellow chicken curry and chicken coconut soup and green bean chicken basil dishes. All were delicious. Very well prepared and seasoned with great spices.
A little mom and pop place, very good food. -

I was surprised that I didn't write a review on this place.
Considering I been visiting this place several times each year for
more than 15+ years!
Truly a family runned business with food cooked perfectly that
you know they put attention on each dishes... not rushed
They do not ...
overcooked the salmon ...
thick curry... no veggie bleeding into the curry thus becoming a SOUP
Basically good basic Thai food where they cooked well executed.
